Many new chemicals enter the market every year, and not much is known of their effects on our ecosystem. It has become a necessity to be vigilant and assess their effects on the world we live in.

IETA 2008 will provide this platform as a means to present the most up-to-date advances in the field, and to encourage collaborations between the many researchers, policy makers and experts from around the world.
